If you’re running a local development server (which you should if you are developing for WordPress) and you are on a Mac, it can be a very useful skill to know how to edit your hosts file on a Mac. I don’t do it all that often, so I thought that I’d share it here so that when I inevitably forget how to do it again, I will be able to find the steps again quickly.
